Terms of Service

SkoolToolz is a free set of study tools, offered as-is to help you learn — not to do your work for you.

1. Acceptance

By using SkoolToolz (“the Service”), operated by Playology Entertainment (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What SkoolToolz is

SkoolToolz is a free, browser-based collection of study and school utilities (flashcards, calculators, timers, writing and reading helpers, reference tools, and similar). It runs in your browser and requires no account. Your work is saved locally in your browser; there is nothing to sign in to.

3. Study aid only — check your work

The tools provide calculations, practice, drafts, and general reference information. They are study aids, not a substitute for your own understanding, your teacher’s instructions, or professional advice. Results can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date.

Always check important work — grades, formulas, citations, dates and deadlines — against authoritative sources such as your teacher, textbook, or official rubric before you rely on it or submit it. You are responsible for the work you turn in, and for using the Service in line with your school’s academic-honesty policies.

4. Your data and responsibilities

Data you enter is stored in your own browser. You are responsible for your device and your browser, including backing up anything you want to keep.
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse it (for example, attempting to disrupt it, or using it to infringe others’ rights).
You are responsible for how you use what the tools produce, including any schoolwork you submit.

5. Third-party services

Some tools may fetch public information from third parties (for example, book-catalog data from Open Library or the Google Books API) when you actively use them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that any information is correct, complete, or current.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playology Entertainment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, incorrect answers, missed deadlines, academic consequences, or other harm arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is free, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

8. Changes

We may update or discontinue the Service, and may revise these Terms, at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
